Training the Trainers

What’s the session about?

This ‘Training the Trainers’ course will give you structure and techniques to create enjoyable training sessions that have an impact and help a group learn new skills or knowledge.

What will we cover:

1. Environment: Create an adult virtual learning environment
2. Design: Learn a 3-step design process to create impactful training material
3. Tools: Identify the impact of the different learning tools in person or on a virtual platform
4. Challenges: Learn how to handle difficult situations or questions virtually
5. Practice: Get some feedback & tips on your delivery style and how to improve your session 

What you need to know before you attend

• Most importantly, we always keep our groups smaller in size (maximum 12).  You will not be joining our sessions with 100s of people
• We do that on purpose as we know it's important to give everyone a chance to ask questions and get individual attention from our trainers
• It’s an interactive, virtual session (9.30am-4.30pm, London) with an opportunity for you to apply the tools to your real-life presentation or speech
• That means we will be asking you to practice and contribute so make sure you’re able to do that in a way that’s best for you
• Please be aware we’ll ask you to keep your camera on as much as possible.  It really helps the conversations, the group and the trainers 

What you need to do before you attend

• You must have prepared a 10-minute training session and bring along any slides or notes you need to deliver the session
• This can be part of a training session you need to deliver in the future or one you have done before and want to refine
• You will use this as the basis for your practice session so please ensure you are familiar with the content
